K-ON! second season coming

Got a heads up about this exciting news and saw at Anime News Network that the “K-ON!” anime will be getting a second season!
Am looking forward to it, hope they are able to produce another excellent series filled with joy and laughter like the first season was.
Can’t wait to see more of Azusa, Mio, Yui, Tsumugi and Ritu’s antics!
Absolutely adored けいおん and am glad to see it continue, certainly if it they can keep up the same excellent level.
The official “K-ON!” website confirms that a second season of the anime based on the original 4koma manga has been green-lit.

Cool. K-ON! was fun but a tad overhyped. Still, I won’t mind a second season ^^

True, the series was really hyped and commercialized, but what popular series isn’t these days? Some people judged it simply because it was popular and hyped, but many hyped series are quite good and solid, for example “Code Geass”.

Really loved “K-ON!” so glad it will be back. Do hope the second season doesn’t turn into a disaster like the much anticipated second season of Suzumiya Haruhi. “K-On!” second season will have big shoes to fill in terms of fan anticipation!

Awesome news! Although like others, I knew this was going to happen soon. Can’t wait for it though.
When is it gonna come out? All you just said is it will come out but when? The official K-ON website is in Japanese but apparently I’m not a Jap…

The second season of “K-ON!” (which will be titled “K-ON!!” with double exclamation marks) will start airing next anime season, in April.
