Ladies versus Butlers!
Saw “Ladies versus butlers!” advertised in the 2009-2010 winter season anime list but it didn’t especially capture my interest. Since the first episode already aired as a special premiere on AT-X, decided to check it out nonetheless.
Originally a light novel series, “Ladies versus butlers!” (れでいxばと) was created by Tsukasa Kouzuki, with illustrations by Munyuu.

Produced by Xebec, the anime adaptation is directed by Atsushi Ootsuki and the characters were redesigned by Akio Takami. Both also worked on “Kanokon” which clearly shows as the “Ladies versus butlers!” characters are animated in the same style.
The atmosphere is also akin to “Kanokon”, often treading into more daring, near vulgar ecchi scenes, not to mention the ridiculously huge bosoms most of the female characters are laden with.
Personally I didn’t like “Kanokon” and this first episode of “Ladies versus butlers!” was a let down, so I will not be watching this series. Can only recommend it to “Kanokon” fans.

Didn’t get hooked up by Kanokon too. Trie the first episode but …
I suppose a public exist for huge bosoms charged girls but it’s definitely not my case.
I saw the pre-release episode too and I was not impressed. It was all a chase scene from the get go and all fan service. I’m all for fan service, but if the whole episode is all but that, I can get quite tired of it. I think even Kanokon had more substance than this… Which is too bad because I do hear Ayako Kawasumi’s voice in this =_=
@Katsura-chan
Personally am prone to like anime maidens with shapely forms, but there’s ample and then there’s exaggerated like here in “Ladies versus Butlers”.
@lightningsabre
Fan service can take many shapes and exist in all types of doses, when its overdone like here it looses its appeal.
