White Orchid

Wanted to share some photos of lovely white Orchids, taken during the last weekend of May when we had some gorgeous summer weather.
These are actually from one of those popular potted Orchid plants you often see around here lately, it was being tossed aside with the trash at the office because it had lost all its flowers.
Saved the Orchid from such cruel fate and after several months of showing no sign of life, it recently grew new flowers. They look really stunning, adore how the petals are such a bright, vibrant white.
Only added two photos as it was tough getting the correct exposure for white flowers under bright sunlight.

Actually I only really started photographing more since I got my Canon 450D last year in February afte rmy basic point & shoot camera broke, so actually haven’t been at it for that long at all actually.
Read that practice and experience are very important for photography, so I try to photograph as much as I can and have a fun time making photos. ^^
