Dandelion
August 10, 2010
Was able to take some photos of a Dandelion bearing seeds using my Canon 100mm macro lens.
The breeze made it challenging to get a satisfactory sharp photo, had stopped down to f/11 for increased depth-of-field and there was some cloud cover, resulting in a slower shutter speed.
Nonetheless managed to get a few good shots when the breeze died down for a moment.
Quite lucky snapped those photos as no sooner did the wind pick up that it took all the seeds with it, blowing them away into the skies.

Nice, i love how its blured around the dandelion, making it the main focal point ^^ beautiful~

Thanks. The 100mm macro has very shallow dept of field, even at f/11 for this photo it barely captured most of the dandelion sharp and there’s a lot of bokeh.
