Azusa art series by Manatsu
Sharing quite a bit of けいおん related art creations on Pixiv, artist 碇 マナツ has recently started a Nakana Azusa themed illustration series.
Having previously completed a terrific image series of Mio, as well as a series showcasing various characters wearing Nodoka’s glasses, even one of illustrations of characters soaked by the rain, am glad to see Manatsu focus on Azusa now.
Do like the vivid colors and crisp, clear lines of this artist’s style that closely resembles the style used in the “K-ON!” anime.
Noticed in the different expressions of Mio in her illustration series that Mantasu excels at capturing the essence of a characters, rendering them exactly like in the original anime or manga.

Must confess an additional reason that I do like this artist’s work is not only the preference for “K-ON!” girls like Nodoka and Azusa, but like me, Mantasu also seems to be quite fond of Nazuna from “Working!!” or Yuki from “The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi”
