Shizuko and bamboo
Already shared some photos of my visit to the National Botanic Garden, had a leisurely stroll through its lovely park which looked gorgeous, as if painted by the bright yellow, orange and brown colors of the autumn leaves.
Next to taking snapshots of the autumn trees, took along Shizuko to indulge in some Dollfie Dream photography and had soon found a great spot near some bamboo plants.
As a Botanic Garden with an arboretum sporting many different trees and other plants, they could not omit having a patch with bamboo. These evergreens proved an excellent background to pose Shizuko with.

On such outings, carry my Dollfie Dream around in the 26 inch light doll carry bag from Dollmore, an affordable carry bag which is rather inconspicuous thanks to its plain matte black finish.
While admittedly it could benefit from being sturdier and having a more convenient zipper release design, it serves its purpose well.
Made several other trips the past week to local arboretum and forests to relax and enjoy the autumn landscape, so you can look forward to more fall themed photography as well as Dollfie Dream autumn styled photos.
Was not very pleased with the sharpness of some captures of Shizuko made with the 50mm prime lens at a distance of over 2 meters, luckily close range was always fine. Hence, decided to equip the 15-85mm lens on later trips.
You can see more of my Dollfie Dream and nature photography on Flickr.

so sweet XD the picture where she is against the bamboo looks like she has usagi mimi ^o^
Elle est toute mignonne Shizuko sur ces photos avec les bambous!!! <3
@chun
Actually only noticed that day after while post-processing, pretty funny isn’t it? XD
@Vin’s
Merci~ Bientôt Il y aura encore plus de photos de Shizuko dans la foret et des photos de Yoko. ^^
Ooh love the girl and love the setting!! Bamboos are such class~ It’s a nice match to her outfit. ^ ^
@Yi
Thanks! That outfit looked right to match autumn colors.
The bamboo patch was awesome, they actually had a bundle of cut down stalks to the side, was tempted to take off with it. XD
It’s always nice to take DD girls out for photos. I always felt that 50 prime is difficult to use outdoor and I always ended up using the 35 since I have a cropped frame.
@Wolfheinrich
Yes, it’s such fun to be able to go out and enjoy the sunny weather and combine that with photo & DD hobby. The other recent day trips I did I used my 15-85mm lens which worked better to capture more in the frame.
Her outfit blend with the bamboos, completely cute :p~
@Shizuo
Thanks! ^^
