K-ON! vs Cowboy Bebop

Spotted this one at Sankaku Complex and though it was so brilliant, just had to share it. An amazing “K-ON!” version of the “Cowboy Bebop” (カウボーイビバップ) opening, not only to the music of the opening track ‘Tank!’ but with the complete animation of the けいおん girls in Bebop style.

Terrific piece of work this video, looks like a lot of effort went into it and the result shows, simply outstanding.

“Cowboy Bebop” is by far one of my favorite anime series ever, a true classic that excels on so many levels.

The work which becomes a new genre itself… such a timeless, yet unsurpassed series. Makes me feel like popping in the “Cowboy Bebop” DVD’s and enjoying this series all over again.

Originally from Nico Nico Douga, there’s an HD version on YouTube as well for your viewing pleasure.

See you later, space keion-girl~

Well this video is more about it being a fun crossover and it’s pretty nicely done too and no mere collage of “K-ON!” scenes on ‘Tank!’.
But “Cowboy Bebop” is awesome indeed… makes me quite anxious about those live action movie plans.
