Rangetsu C77 doujin ‘Yellow Noise’
In their series of “Code Geass” books, Rangetsu (also known as Stormoon – website, Pixiv) from the circle Creayus released the ‘Yellow Noise’ doujin at Comiket 77.
Unlike their C76 release ‘Noise Pollution’ which was an all color fan book filled with full page illustrations, ‘Yellow Noise’ is a default black and white doujin, save for three colored images which adorn the cover, first page and back of the book.
Centered on C.C. and Lelouch, this C77 doujin contains a hentai story mixed with humor when an experiment by Rakshata causes Lelouch and Zero to both manifest in separate bodies.
With it being a black and white hentai book, it isn’t as appealing to me as ‘Noise Pollution’, which showcased brilliant “Code Geass” full color art by Rangetsu.
Nonetheless, the art in this book is quite excellent, and really do respect that like Mahiru Izumi, Rangetsu renders C.C. with her chest scar, something which is else often omitted but an essential element of her character.
Still, am rather hoping to see another “Code Geass” fan book by this artist in the future, containing only illustrations instead of a normal doujin.
You can see more of Rangetsu’s art at the Creayus website or check out these scans of the doujin (made by debilitate).
I like CC very much, her coldness, pragmatism and beauty.
The drawings here are very beautiful.
This doujin looks very pretty. Love the colored pages.
Also, agreed that I look forward to an illustration book.

C.C. is my favorite “Code Geass” character, really loved how they developed her and Lelouch’s character and their interaction. A shame her character was a bit underused in the second season, they left a bit too much unexplored about her, though that does add to her ever remaining mysterious aura.

Yes, rangetsu has an excellent way to render C.C. so hope to see more full color illustrations. Perhaps I shall showcase some from Rangetsu’s site.
