Yoko autumn style

December 11, 2010

Wanted to showcase Dollfie Dream Yoko sporting some Nine9Style fashion gear that goes her well, especially the darker tone of the turtleneck sweater fits the cold seasons.

After equipping Yoko with a body stocking from CoolCat, felt at ease to display her wearing such dark colored clothing without having to fear the vinyl body would so easily get stained.

Do you like brunettes?

Like how the photos taken with a few fallen leaves as backdrop turned out, but do prefer those like the above image that were made on a day the sun’s rays broke through the clouds.

Do I look cute?

Am quite glad took the chance on acquiring Dollfie Dream Yoko as her facial sculpt is one of the best in my personal taste, she definitely does look fabulous shot from this angle.

The necklace and woven leather belt too are accessories from Nine9Style.

The necklace actually comes in a set of two chains with cross pendants that are linked together. Disassembled them to make two separate necklaces, so Shizuko could wear one too.

The white beanie is actually from Dollmore. Received the other beanie Yoko showcased before as a gift with the Nine9Style order, it conveniently expands her wardrobe.

Hi there

Created for Volks’ Super Dollfie ball jointed dolls, these clothes aren’t specifically designed for the Dollfie Dream body’s different curves, certainly not the DDDy’s shapely sizes.

While they can be snug or loose here and there, they nonetheless fit more than well enough.

Beanie and hood

Saw Nine9Style added new items to their collection so ponder whether to get a few more things from them or to go for some Volks outfits on Yahoo! Japan Auction. Alas, chances are the latter will turn out more expensive.

You can see more photos of this Dollfie Dream photography set on Flickr.

Lovely shoots, like Yoko playing with her hair~
Though I would suggest to stay away from throwing jackets onto DDDy body. One of the biggest problems associated with the DDDy body is they don’t fit well with jacket, it’s way too difficult to have a jacket to fit around a DDDy body without looking overly bulky.

Well I do like the style of that jacket on Yoko, rarely button it up though as it does indeed look a bit bulky, plus one must showcase Yoko’s curves!

They are, for the DDII S/M bust it’s not as much a challenge though you do still notice the DD body is a lot more hourglass shaped than the average SD (for which these jackets are designed). For DDDy it’s a whole different story, this jacket barely closes and indeed can look bulky. But Yoko being so cute, I leave it open.

Look forward to seeing the photos!
Do advise to remove the red labels as they will stain the vinyl.
