Tony Taka art adorned laptop PC

January 25, 2011

After the recent release of Tony Taka‘s C79 doujin ‘ちっちゃくないよっ!!’ and the usual goods offered for sale each Comiket such as exclusive dakimakura covers, saw at たいくつ that Two Top is offering a laptop computer adorned with Tony’s art.

Featuring a special print applied to the laptop top cover, fans can choose between two models, one with an illustration featuring two girls in gothic lolita style and the other features this bikini clad girl.

Although it is definitely more daring, this artwork showcasing a gorgeous girl in that striking red bikini, complete with tan lines and caught in a state of undress has my personal preference over the gothic lolita image.

What keeps me from purchasing this Tony Taka laptop is the hefty 150,000 Yen price tag, especially when considering the machine’s hardware specifications.

The laptop does have a potent Intel Core i7 740QM quad core processor but alas, it is one of Intel’s previous generation processors that have now been surpassed with the recent launch of Intel’s new ‘Sandy Bridge’ processor lineup.

Bit surprised it is offered with Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit considering the 4GB of DDR3 memory, 64bit would have been better and one would expect at least Windows 7 Ultimate.

Windows 7 Ultimate would have made it a more interesting purchase for it allows you to effortlessly change the entire operating system language, enabling foreign buyers to change it from Japanese to English (or another language).

The Ati Mobility Radeon HD 4570 dedicated graphics chip is an older model and the specifications of the 500GB hard drive are unknown. Definitely expected a more recent graphics chip or at least a fast SSD drive.

Rather disappointing actually in terms of the hardware offered for this steep price, most of the price seems to go to the illustration applied on the top cover being officially licensed.

Considering that, would opt to either spend the same sum on a laptop computer with better hardware specifications, a designer device like a MacBook Pro or spend a more moderate sum on a similarly equipped laptop computer and have one of Tony Taka’s illustrations custom printed on a decal to be applied on the top cover.

If I were to have such a custom decal created of one of Tony Taka’s illustrations, would definitely go for one like above, showcasing two irresistibly cute maidens clad in colorful kimono getting comfortably frisky with each other.

In case the official Tony art adorned PC should interest you, you can still reserve it at Two Tone.

OMG, incredibly sexy as always. I love the half taken off jeans and those two different flavored pairs of girls.

Hmm if id want to make some money with Tony`s Art id rather offer them as Decals to apply to a laptop of your choice.I dont see many people paying that much for a what seems overpriced laptop.
I think theyd earn more with decals at 40$ than the laptop at its current price but I know of course nothing about business.

Since you are talking about custom decals…I thought the companies offering those reject to print any kind fo material where the copyright is unsure?

Indeed, even though the size might not always perfect for each screen or top shell, they could make the decals available in main laptop sizes. No doubt the sale potential could be greater.
Am not sure, years ago had a custom print made for a Nexus Psile case featuring Aria characters and it was printed as is by Nexus.

Lovely stuff indeed, though having this printed on top of my laptop would be self-defeating as I can only see it when it’s not in use 😛 Having a neat desktop wallpaper would be more than suffice for me~

    @Wolfheinrich
That’s quite true! Am currently using a landscape oriented crop of the above shown kimono girls image by Tony as wallpaper. ^^
