Railgun Saten & Uiharu yuri dakimakura
Recently mentioned wasn’t really convinced by the PVC figures created by Alter and Kotobukiya of Saten Ruiko, one of my favorite characters from “To Aru Kagaku No Railgun”.
Thanks to comrade OtakuDan, spotted this lovely hugging pillow cover that not only features Saten Ruiko but showcases her alongside her dear friend Uiharu Kazari. Really like the illustrations used for this dakimakura, instead of merely displaying one character on each side, it portrays both girls together.
The yuri atmosphere in these illustrations is an excellent touch. One side shows a mischievous Saten and blushing Uiharu with their school uniforms in state of undress, the other side features the girls in bikini with Uiharu taking the initiative and embracing a blushing Saten.

Am quite tempted to splurge on this dakimakura!

That’s what I love about it, each side has one of the girls take the initiative, makes me wish we’d see Uiharu be a bit bolder like that with Saten sometime in a Railgun sequel.
I was disappointed seeing the release of this combined dakimakura of Saten and Uiharu. I think they deserve their own pillows, just like Misaka and Kuroko.
I would love to have a Saten dakimakura, but i want a standalone one, Saten-san is the only one i want to hug^^
Anyway, the artwork is great, both girls look so good, ah… if there were two pillows, not one… i would definitely purchase the Saten one, she is so charming.
I agree with A Certain Level Zero, they deserve their own individual dakimakuras, but this one is nice. I also wasn’t very enthused about the Alter/Kotobukiya figures.

Ah, can fathom though what you mean and indeed both Saten and Uiharu deserve their own individual one, but considering this one is excellent and has great illustrations (and that yuri vibe), that’s plenty for me. ^^

Perhaps one day they will get individual ones depending on the sale of this one? It started out as a Comiket 79 item anyway.
