Winter’s farewell

Having looked at the upcoming anime season line-up last week, realized it’s already the middle of March, the winter season will soon end to give way to spring! While these past days we’ve had mild weather here, saw on weather reports that it can still be quite cold in other places.

As the new season approaches fast, wanted to share some photos made earlier of Dollfie Dream Yoko and Shizuko in their warm winter gear.

Taken on an afternoon when the sun was out under a cloudless sky, took advantage of the abundant light to capture the DD girls gazing outside.

Shizuko was wearing the twin tail wig had showcased before, it suits her quite well combined with that knit winter jacket.

Yoko sports a more rugged and versatile jacket equipped with a large detachable hood, picked it up at Nine9Style together with the white knit winter jacket.

Most other clothes shown here were bought there as well, some items like Yoko’s beanie are from Dollmore though.

Was surprised to see how this shot came out, seems as if Yoko is looking back at the camera while Shizuko dreamily stares at her.

Noticed that Shizuko’s customized DDH03 head can make the DDII body’s neck seem unnaturally long compared to Yoko and her DDDy body. The DDH03 being smaller, thinner than Yoko’s face probably causes this impression.

As such Shizuko does tend to look better when clad in outfits with collars, wearing turtleneck sweaters or a scarf.

Wanted to emulate what Shizuko would see from her point of view if she were to reach up at her sister Yoko.
