Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni

Could write how nice it is to see a second season of the “Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu” series based on the light novels written by Kenji Inoue with art by Yui Haga, but the selling point of this show to me revolves mostly around its alluring trap Kinoshita Hideyoshi.

Did like the first season of this oft hilarious school comedy with its added touch of having summoned being academic battles. It is refreshing though to see this sequel start with beach episodes, a nice change of its usual school setting.

Alas, in these first few episodes of “バカとテストと召喚獣にっ” we saw far too little of lovely trap Kinoshita Hideyoshi, who is superbly voiced by Katou Emiri who you may remember as also having voiced Kagami in “Lucky Star”.

Luckily we did get plenty of trap shenanigans when the girls made Akihisa and Kouta cross dress in yukata! か…かわいい!

Looking back, must say the most memorable episodes of this show were those that broke away from the usual school setting mold. Nonetheless, am quite looking forward to the upcoming episodes of this great comedy.
