Summer madness of C80

August 13, 2011

The summer edition of Comiket is being held this weekend in Japan. Thanks to updates from Merun on Google+, information posts by soliasta on Hunting The Elusive, following C80 releases piqued my interest.

After releasing the “ちっちゃくないよっ!!” illustration book at C79, Tony Taka (T2 Artworks) revisits “Working!!” with the “ちっちゃくないよ!!” typical h doujin. Other items from this artist including a microfiber tapestry, clear file, t-shirt and much more.

Was glad to read Mahiru Izimi (泉まひる, homepage nsfw) is releasing a colored doujin titled “Ceclia Style”, centered on Cecilia from last season’s anime “IS: Infinite Stratos”.

Am most likely going to pass up on the “Check Ero mixed” h doujin by Kantoku (5年目の放課後) as I have ordered Kantoku’s newly released commercial art book “STEP -カントク アートワークス2-” at Amazon Japan. Also favored Kantoku’s “あしあと -カントク アートワークス-” book over the normal doujin release during C77.

Matsuryu (松竜, Pixiv) is publishing “俺と黒猫があんなコトやこんなコトを…2” a sequel to the C79 doujin about Oreimo character Ruri/Kuroneko.

Saw these releases are on Toranoana so might just try and get them there, else Yahoo! Japan Auction is an option, though a more costly one. Should I let reason prevail and mind the budget? Or splurge on this extravagant art goodness?

I have been avoiding Dojin merchandises for some time now, most because most of my budget is allocated for my Dollfie Dream daughters. Just out of curiosity though, who is that girl in the upper right corner?

Upper right corner? That’s Tony Tak’s rendition of Taneshima Poplar from “Working!!”
He already drew her in a few illustrations for his C79 doujin, this time looks like the entire book will be focused on her and the other “Working!!” characters.
