Kyouko lounging

August 17, 2011

After the focus was all on Shizuko in the previous Dollfie Dream photo post, it’s time to focus on Kyouko again.

Must admit though that this set of photos is not all that recent, but hadn’t uploaded them yet. Remember taking these on a whim as the woven straw chair used seemed like it would make a nice background.

Didn’t have Kyouko for that long yet back then, so wanted to experiment with the DDS body type to see how well it could handle such poses compared to the DDII type.

Opted for some more leisurely looking poses, which with the plain looking outfit of gray leggings and sweater create an atmosphere as if Kyouko is just lazily lounging on a Sunday afternoon.

One of the several changes on the DDS body that I am quite fond of -actually prefer it on that aspect over its DDII counterpart- are the more pronounced collar bones on the chest piece.
Can fathom some of you may think they are too pronounced, but personally like them like this.

どうしたの? 一緒にのんびりしませんか。ほら、おいで~

Read that Volks’ latest DDS sized doll Akira is actually equipped with an improved version of the original DDS body. Hope that Kyouko’s DDS frame will not suffer any breaks or failures, but if it does, Volks at least has DDS option parts in their catalog now.

So, will you relax together with Kyouko?

You can always see more of my Dollfie Dream photography on Flickr.

    Thanks Yi. ^^
Thanks! The DDS does make posing easier than the DDII.
