FACTS 2011
Although had skipped the previous edition, did attend this year’s FACTS event, an anime, sci-fi and fantasy themed convention, easily the largest of its kind here.
Alas the event itself wasn’t great, it was too crowded for my taste, making many passageways and booths near impossible to navigate. The quantity of anime related goods was rather low, only Super Dragon Toys and Archonia had a decent selection, but for the prices advertised, might just as well buy online.
Nonetheless, had a terrific day as I met up with fellow Dollfie Dream owner and photography enthusiast Dr Cow, who had brought his Nanoha along. Don’t often meet fellow otaku outside of the online realm so it was fun to exchange thoughts on Dollfie Dream, photography & anime figures.
Off course, we indulged in some Dollfie Dream photo shenanigans of Nanoha and Shizuko! You can already see some of the resulting photos on Flickr.

Wow! You were there. So was I (Saturday afternoon). My boyfriend and I attend it every time, but this year, I didn’t make it to cosplay. Next year will be different though. 😉
If you guys do another meet-up, would you mind if I joined? My Yukino is still on the way, but I hope to have her in about a month or so.
