Amanchu! volume 4 out soon
The fourth volume of “Amanchu!”, the ongoing manga by Amano Kozue (天野 こずえ), the creator of “Aria”, is due out on March 10.
With new chapters appearing every trimester in Mag Garden’s magazine ‘Comic Blade’ instead of the more common monthly release cycle, it has been a while since volume three was released and a fifth volume will alas no doubt be far off.
After having featured the diving instructor Katori Mato on the previous cover, it is time again for the diving club members to grace the cover page, with Futaba & Hikari on the foreground.
Understand Amano Kozue’s reasons for creating new chapters at a slower pace, but it is still a shame as I would love to see this story and its characters fully blossom, taking us on the voyage of a lifetime like Akari and her friends in “Aria”.

I really love Amano Kozue. She really knows how to relax people and slow life down without being boring. The oceans are beautiful~

So true! And while “Amanchu!” has a lot of that typical atmosphere and style seen in “Aria” it’s also very different and really does go into the workings behind diving but all through the joyous journey of these lovely characters.
