Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai

July 13, 2012

A light novel series written by Pan Tachibana with illustrations by Yoshiaki Katsurai of which the eight volume will soon be released, “だから僕は、Hができない“ now receives the anime adaptation treatment.

Hadn’t put this show on my list of series to sample, but was intrigued by some of the promotional art that featured Lisara, the story’s female lead character.
Unfortunately, was disappointed after having watched the first episodes of “Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai”.

With cliche, overused character types in all too familiar plot setting, this show offers little worthwhile content or interesting scenes. Not even the explicit ecchi material provides any entertainment.
The animation by studio Feel is mediocre at best, with inconsistencies in character rendering between scenes, lots of haze and other filters that make the overall animation seem sub par.

Not even Endo Aya’s voice work as Lisara is enough to convince me to keep on watching. She previously voiced great characters like Sheryl in “Macross Frontier”, Miyuki in “Lucky Star” and Filicia in “So-Ra-No-Wo-To”.

Alas, I cannot in good conscience recommend this series to anyone.

She’s of course the only reason to watch plus the guy really reminds me of the guy from Sora no otoshimono, a big perv haha.

the plot is okay nothing to be excited about, I wouldnt say that it is a big recommendation but for those that have time and want a bit of eechi comedy with a hot red haired girl then by all means 🙂

While I don’t mind the entertainment of ogling a gorgeous redhead like Lisara, alas the show itself is just not good enough considering all the other anime that are airing this season.
