Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex on Youtube

February 6, 2013

To promote the new “Ghost in the Shell Arise” anime due out later in 2013, Production IG has made the entire first season of “Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex” available on the official Youtube GITSchannel (攻殻機動隊ARISE Channel).

Featuring original Japanese audio and English subtitles, the opportunity to watch all 26 episodes of the first “Ghost in the Shell” anime series free & legal on Youtube is one not to miss as this anime is a classic any fan should watch.

Considering the intricate stories and complex themes that mark this franchise, making “Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex” available for all to watch is excellent to get new viewers familiar with previous stories before “Ghost in the Shell Arise” starts airing.

A “Ghost in the Shell Arise” launch event will be live streaming on Niconico and Youtube on February 12 at 21:00 hours Japan time.

Ah nice, I own these already but people who haven’t watched this decently should.

What do you think of the new Motoko design? A lot of people seem to be against it, but I personally really like it!

Motoko’s new look is fine for me. Always liked her look in the GitS:SAC anime so didn’t have to change for me, but seeing her look like this it makes me curious if it will have a significance for her character and story. (In the original manga her look changes as she changes personality.)
