Kozue Amano’s manga Amanchu! gets anime adaptation

October 5, 2015

Spotted an article at Dengeki Online announcing that an anime adaptation of Kozue Amano’s ongoing manga “Amanchu!” will air in 2016! An official website has been launched for the anime and currently features a first teaser video, showing the anime designs for Futaba & Hikari.

This is excellent news, am overjoyed that “Amanchu!” will get its own anime adaptation! While it is a very different story than “Aria”, “Amanchu!” has the same enchanting, leisurely slice-of-life atmosphere where its endearing characters take you along for a wonderful journey through their world.

Considering “Aria” ranks among the highest of my all time favorite anime, am ecstatic to see “Amanchu!” in anime form.
Studio JC Staff will produce the anime. With Junichi Sato -who also directed the “Aria” and “Tamayura” anime- on board as chief director am confident this “Amanchu!” anime can have the same flair and uniqueness as those two series.

With the “Aria” anime journey coming to an end with “Aria the Avvenire”, am looking forward to the new journey that the “Amanchu!” anime will bring.
For now, will keep track of the official “Amanchu!” Twitter account for news.

BEST NEWS! Since Avvenire got announced too, I really like amanchu, another laid back story which I so can’t wait to watch. Good to know that it’s the same folks behind Aria. God I have butterflies in my stomach 😀
