Shizuko with Volks Dollfie Dream one-piece torso

October 23, 2015

Although Volks already released the unitorso (also known as unibody or once-piece torso) for its Dollfie Dream a few years ago, it was only recently that the manufacturer offered that seamless torso as a separately purchasable part.

The first unitorso equipped bodies came with character Dollfie Dream from the Idolm@ster franchise, they were hence highly sought after and quite expensive. It should come as no surprise that like most other fans, I opted to wait until it would one day become available on the Volks online store.

Have been experimenting with Peach Pai aftermarket parts so I thought it would be nice to try the Volks unitorso too, and for some variation, decided to get a different bust size than the usual M bust. Hesitated for a while between the SS and S size types, but decided on the S bust unibody.

Equipped Shizuko with this brand new one-piece torso by Volks. While pose-ability may be more difficult compared to the normal body, the seamless torso is definitely more pleasing aesthetically.

Summer is already past, so it didn’t feel right to go for bikini outfits, hence choose to clad Shizuko in a plain shirt and jeans from Nine9Style. Even though that MDD sized shirt is rather short and a snug fit, had to go for a more candid pose as seen above to showcase the seamless torso.

Took advantage of the torso part swap to restyle Shizuko’s wig which had remained unchanged since its first installation years ago. Am quite pleased with the result.

Oh, yes the one-piece torso is a quite nice piece, the backside is sexy and also the belly looks really nice, ok maybe on normal Dollfie upper body parts the belly looks the same?
I can’t tell since I only have the one-piece torso for my DDS ^^

    This looks beautiful!
So if I recall correctly Shizuko was A DD-II?
Does this mean you can use the DD-II arms and legs on the unitorso?

Man this makes me wanna get one myself😄

They look/are fairly similar, except of course differences in the lines and shape due to the lack of the joint/seperate parts. The unitorso’s lines are smoother.

Alas no, this is a DDS body. Using the DDII on Atsuko.
