Dollfie Dream snapshots: Shizuko -2-

This quick photo of Dollfie Dream Shizuko is one of the first shots I made with the Fujian 35mm f/1.7 CCTV lens I had purchased a while ago.

Although am very pleased with the performance of the Sony Sonnar T* FE 55mm f/1.8 lens on my Sony A7, nonetheless wanted to try and create photos with a different visual atmosphere without them being the result of performing more trickery in Adobe Lightroom.

There are enough novelty lenses available in various price ranges with interesting offerings from LensBaby or Meyer Optik Görlitz. However, was most interested in the Fujian 35mm f/1.7 CCTV lens after reading reviews promising this lens allows fun photo creations with lots of bokeh. Considering it is available on eBay for as low as 25$ with Sony E-mount adaptor included, simply couldn’t pass up on trying this novelty lens.
