New “K-ON!” OP with Azusa

With Nakano Azusa having joined Mio, Yui, Tsumugi and Ritsu in the light music club, the “K-ON!” opening animation sequence has been edited by Kyoto Animation to also feature the cute twin tailed guitar player.

Azusa not only joins the frames where we see the keion-bu girls perform, her name has been added to the ‘けいおん!’ logo and she also gets her own intro sequence with an adorable pose where she hugs her guitar.

If you listen carefully, you will also observe that the track “Cagayake! Girls” which accompanies the opening animation has an extra guitar playing in it.

Wonder if they will further edit the opening sequence the next weeks to incorporate Azusa in even more scenes.
