Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi!+ 2

Watched the second and final episode of “Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi!+”, the “Yuru Yuri” special that bridges the gap between the franchise’s summer themed OVA and “Yuru Yuri San Hai!”, the third season of the anime that will air soon.

Enjoyed the “Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi!” OVA and first episode of “Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi!+”, so was anxious to see this second episode. While I do feel it was not as good as the previous episode, it was nonetheless terrific fun with the show’s typical humor and the cast’s usual antics of silly shenanigans.

Do like how this episode was split in two parts like the previous one, although this time not in separate halves, but rather as two intertwined story lines, showing us the Yui, Kyouko, Akari & Chinatsu as well as Sakurako, Himawari, Chitose & Ayano, each grouo having their own sleep-over party.

Especially liked how they spent time showcasing a more caring side of Sakurako’s character, revealing she’s more than a feisty brat and does care about Himawari, Chitose & Ayano. As expected, much like with Kyouko, Sakurako’s typical behavior is never far off.

Now on to the third season “Yuru Yuri San Hai!” which is scheduled to begin in a few weeks.
