Yuru Yuri third season announced

Originally announced at a stage event for the “YuruYuri Nachuyachumi” OVA which was recently released on Blu-Ray, the official “Yuru Yuri” anime website too has confirmed there will be a third season of this silly yuri comedy.

Adapted from the “ゆるゆり” manga by Namori, I thoroughly enjoyed the first two anime seasons, which have a unique blend of slapstick comedy, oddball characters and light yuri. Although have lamented its lack of sincere yuri pairings and events, must admit “Yuru Yuri” is first and foremost a silly comedy with lots of ‘easygoing’ yuri as its title suggests, nothing explicit like “Sakura Trick” or “Sasameki Koto” in terms of yuri events.

Considering the excellent “YuruYuri Nachuyachumi” OVA was absolutely hilarious, can hardly wait to see more of Akari, Chinatsu, Kyouko, Yui and all their friends’ silly shenanigans.

Hopefully I can restrain my imagination long enough from going on a delusional rampage like Chitose in anticipation of this third “Yuru Yuri” anime season.
